Afterwards, you may experience some swelling and bruising. For most clients this is minimal and will settle within a few days. However, this could take up to 2 weeks in more severe cases.

If you take any medications with a blood thinning effect, it is advised to stop these for a at least 3 days prior to your treatment if safe to do so in order to minimise the risk of bruising.

​How Long Do Dermal Fillers Last?

 

The longevity of dermal fillers depends on certain factors like the treated area, the type of filler used, lifestyle and metabolism. On average, the results last around 12 - 18 months, but you may require a small maintenance treatment after approximately 6 months to maintain your results.
